Jónsi’s immersive installations reconfigure the act of listening using the four senses—sight, smell, taste, and touch. His multi-sensory works create unique environments that emotionally push the viewer into meditating on themes of nature, the human voice and their sensorial relationships. With the use of innovative sonic arrangements and a perfume organ to create new scents, Jónsi asks the viewer to explore and imagine their own relationship to sight, sound, scent, and space.
